Coronavirus: Cambridge United first team and coaching staff self-isolating for a week
Cambridge United’s entire first team and coaching staff are self-isolating for the next week.
While none of them is showing symptoms of the coronavirus, a first team player was exposed to someone who tested positive for Covid-19 last week.
The player, who has not been named, has been present at the club’s training facility at Clare College sports ground.
The training ground will also be closed for the next seven days.
The club currently has no games to play, after the English Football League suspended all fixtures until April 3 because of growing concerns over the Coronavirus outbreak.
United said it will provide updates to fans on ticketing when it can.
