FA Cup second round draw: Cambridge United drawn away at League One Stockport County

Cambridge United have been drawn away from home in the second round of the FA Cup.

The U’s, who beat Chester in round one at the weekend, will have to overcome higher-league Stockport County if they are to get through to a potentially glamour third round tie against Premier League opposition.

Edgeley Park has not been the happiest of hunting grounds for United, with their last five trips ending winless. In fact, Cambridge’s last victory at Stockport came back in May 1988.

Neil Harris’ men will make the journey north over the weekend of 6 December.
