Histon manager Chris Nunn makes Daventry Town winger Joe Sutton his third signing since taking charge of Bridge Road club

A familiar face has become Chris Nunn’s third signing since his appointment as the new Histon manager late last week.

Having been a part of the Daventry Town side that hammered the Stutes 5-0 last weekend, Joe Sutton has now returned to Bridge Road, where he came through the scholarship programme before going on to make 77 appearances.

The winger, who has scored five goals for Histon, will be available for this weekend’s trip to March Town United along with fellow recent additions Jake Kerins and Jim Burnside.

Meanwhile, Nunn has also finalised his management team with the additions of Matt Vernon, Jordan Williams and Mick Hunter.

The trio all worked alongside Nunn during his recent stint in charge of higher-league AFC Rushden & Diamonds.
