Foxton have reached the quarter-finals of The Cricketer National Village Cup.

In the sixth round against Findon, they were put in to bat.

Alex Hooley plundered 108, off 100 balls including 10 fours, and there was a barnstorming display from David Fagan, who smashed six sixes and four fours to make 59 not out off 20 balls as Foxton closed on closed on 308 for 4.

Findon wickets then fell at regular intervals throughout their innings, with Steven Atherton the pick of the Foxton bowlers with four for 33.

It meant Findon were bowled out for 166, giving Foxton a 142-run win.

Foxton will now face Reed in the quarter-finals on July 21.

Fagan andHooley also guided Foxton to a seven-wicket win over Wisbech Town in the Whiting & Partners Cambs & Hunts Premier League, Division One.

Putting Wisbech in to bat, Donal Whyte grabbed the scalps of three for 29 as the hosts made 164 for 7.

Foxton made good the chase, with Fagan smashing 48 not out, off 45 balls, and Hooley hit 44, off 48, as Foxton reached 167 for 3.
