Antipodeans to stay at Volac Park in 2018-19 campaign

George Bretag-Norris and Matt Hema have become the latest players to commit to Cambridge for next season.

Bretag-Norris, 27, will be entering his fourth season at Volac Park, having joined in 2015, when he helped them earn promotion from National League 2S. He has made 72 appearances.

Hema, 25, also arrived from Bury St Edmunds, in the summer of 2016, and he has scored 15 tries in 50 appearances.

Incoming head coach Richie Williams said: “We are delighted that both players have extended their stay with us. Both are senior players and have been consistent with their high levels of performance this season.

“They are part of a large core group of players who are staying on board, which allows us to build and grow as a team.”
