Andy Ballester grabbed his first goal for Histon as they wrapped up their title-winning Thurlow Nunn League, Premier Division season with a 2-1 win at Framlingham Town.

Dan Smith gave the hosts the lead within the first couple of minutes.

Matt Green’s stooping header drew Histon level midway through the first half.

Ballester then netted the winner with 10 minutes remaining, converting a cross to the back post.

Max York swept up in the awards stakes, winning the players’ player and supporters’ player of the year prizes. His 27 goals from centre-back also made him the top scorer.
