Histon earned two draws in four days in the BetVictor Isthmian League, North Division

Last Saturday, they let a one-goal lead slip against league leaders Aveley as they earned a 1-1 draw.

The Stutes top scorer Ed Rolph netted his 18th goal of the season to open the scoring in the ninth minute, capitalising on confusion in the visitors' defence.

Aveley equalised in first-half stoppage time. Sam Roach was deemed to have picked up a backpass, and the indirect free kick then hit a Histon hand, giving Firmin Ngandu the chance to score from the spot.

On Tuesday night, Histon were held to a 0-0 draw at Dereham Town.

Histon make the trip to Bury Town this Saturday (February 8).
