Quartet in action for their countries

Cambridge players past and present were out in force on international duty last weekend.

Former mini and youth player Will Hooley, who now plays for Bedford Blues, was a replacement for the USA Eagles as they won 29-10 against Canada in the Americas Rugby Championship.

That follows Hooley, who now went to The Leys School, making his USA debut against Argentina the previous week, and landing two penalties in a 17-10.

And another past mini and youth star Fraser Dingwall, who plays for Northampton Saints and is on loan at Coventry, appeared for England as they won 37-12 against Wales in the Under-20s Six Nations.

Ehren Painter, who is on loan at Cambridge from Northampton Saints, made his England under-20s debut, while fellow Saints’ loanee Devante Onojaife represented Scotland under-20s.
