And no change for Jesus College on the Cam

Lady Margaret had a soaring success to earn the men’s Headship of the Lent Bumps.

Starting the week in fourth place in the top division, they bumped Pembroke on day one and continued by leapfrogging first Caius and then Downing before rowing over on the final day to take victory.

Caius started the week as the top crew in Division One, but after being bumped by Downing on the first day, they ended the week in fourth, with Jesus moving up from fifth to third.

There was not as much drama at the top of the women’s divisions, as Jesus rowed over to take the Headship.

Clare were the main movers and shakers as they went from sixth at the start of the week to second, bumping Emmanuel, Christ’s, Newnham and Downing.

Robinson II made the greatest progress during the week, as they went from 10th in men’s Division Three to fourth, after a double bump on day three.

Clare College won the Marconi Cup, which is awarded to the most successful boat club during the Lent Bumps, with two of their crews getting blades and their total aggregate change from six crews being 20.
