Jack Wilkinson is Cambridge City's first summer signing
And Adam Capel, Ben Robinson and Salim Relizani agree new deals
Cambridge City have made their first new signing of the summer.
Defender Jack Wilkinson has joined from Mildenhall Town. The left-back has previously played for St Neots, Harlow and AFC Sudbury, where he gained promotion a couple of seasons ago.
City manager Robbie Nightingale said: “I am delighted to agree terms with Jack. He was being looked at by other clubs and he will prove to be an excellent signing for us.”
The Lilywhites have also agreed terms for the 2018-19 season with a number of their players.
The latest was defender Adam Capel, who broke into the first team last season and made 19 appearances in all competitions, either filling in at left back or partnering Jordan Gent at the heart of the City defence. Gent was the first City player to agree terms for the new season.
Nightingale said: “Adam did really well for us last season showing great character and attitude.
“He is still young but I genuinely feel he has a great future ahead and I am really pleased that he will be with us for next season”.
Ben Robinson and Salim Relizani have also agreed terms for next season.
Nightingale said: “Both players were an integral part of the squad last season and want to be part of what we are trying to build, and I am delighted they have agreed for next season.”
Meanwhile the club has announced admission fees and season ticket prices for 2018-19.
Adults will pay £10, with concessions – those aged 60-plus and students with ID – paying £5. Those aged 12-16 will pay £3 and under-12s can enjoy free entry.
Early bird season tickets for home league games are available until July 31, priced £150 for adults, £75 for concessions and £45 for those aged 12-16. After July 31, prices will rise to £160/£80/£48.
