Jason Coleman helped Foxton put Eaton Socon to the sword in Whitings & Partners Cambs & Hunts Premier League, Division One.

Foxton batted first and Alex Hooley was left narrowly short of a century as he made 84 from 105 runs, including 10 fours.

Mark Bott and Jeffrey Douglas contributed 41 each as Foxton reached 261 for 7 at the end of their innings.

Eaton Socon never really got going in their reply, with Foxton picking up valuable wickets throughout the innings.

Socon were bowled out for 154, with Coleman taking three for 21 and Douglas and Kimoney Alexander claiming two wickets apiece.

Histon’s difficult run continued as they lost by seven wickets to Ketton.
