Foursomes success at Cambridgeshire Golf Club

Marcella Tuttle and Sarah Greenall have defended their Cambs and Hunts Ladies County Golf Association County Scratch Foursomes title.

The duo, from the Links, Newmarket, faced Ely City’s Laura Todd and Chloe Ashman in the final at the Cambridgeshire Golf Club.

Tuttle and Greenall went into an early lead by winning two of the first three holes.

The pairs traded blows on the way out, with Todd and Ashman winning the fourth and seventh, but by the turn, Tuttle and Greenall had established a three-shot lead after taking the sixth and ninth.

The 10th hole was halved, but Tuttle and Greenall moved further ahead when they won the 11th.

After the 12th was halved, Tuttle and Greenall closed out the match for a 6&4 victory by taking the 13th and 14th holes, clinching the trophy for a second successive year.
