Midfielder back for forthcoming campaign

Ollie Snaith will be donning a Cambridge City shirt again next season.

The midfielder is the latest player to commit to the Lilywhites for their Evo-Stik League Southern, Division One Central campaign.

Snaith started last season at Newmarket Town, but made the move to City in January, following a brief spell with Needham Market.

And he went on to become an ever-present member of the squad.

“Ollie was an instrumental member of the City squad last season, so I am naturally delighted that he will be with us again for the new campaign,” said City boss Robbie Nightingale.

“I am sure our fans are looking forward to him wearing a City shirt again and it is another major boost for us as we prepare for the new season.”

Meanwhile, Nigel Ashman has resigned as manager of Cambridge City reserves.

He had been in charge of the second team in the Kershaw League, Premier Division for four years, but is now keen to concentrate on a coaching role.
