“We look forward to working closely with Rhino over the coming years, celebrating one of the oldest fixtures in rugby.”

Managing director of Rhino Teamwear, Dave Reynish said: “The Varsity Match remains one of the biggest dates in the British rugby calendar.

“It’s very much an institution of the game and we’re very proud to be providing the kit for the men’s and women’s teams of these historic clubs – Oxford University RFC and Cambridge University RUFC.

“It’s a testament to our reputation within the teamwear industry and the quality of the Rhino products that we’re going to be showcased by, arguably, the two most famous rugby-playing universities in the world.

“We’re going to be creating a kit that reflects the great tradition of the fixture, but also meets the needs of the modern-day rugby side.

“There’s also going to be a supporters range that will be in-keeping with the heritage of these famous sides.

The 31st Women’s Varsity Match and 136th Men’s Varsity Match will take place at Twickenham Stadium on Thursday, December 7.
