Ryan Sharman fires Cambridge City to victory over Sutton Coldfield Town
Ryan Sharman was the match winner for Cambridge City for the second time in a week.
The Lilywhites made the trip to Sutton Coldfield Town on Tuesday night (September 14) in the Pitching In Northern Premier League, Midlands Division, and returned with all three points thanks to a 1-0 win.
Sharman had got the winner in the 1-0 victory over Wisbech Town the previous Wednesday, and followed it up against Sutton Coldfield.
City were awarded a penalty for a handball in the area in the 10th minute, and Sharman tucked away the spot kick for what proved to be his side's first away win of the season.
They are next back in action on Saturday, September 25 away to Spalding United.
It was not such a good evening for Histon, who were beaten 5-0 at home by Corby Town.
The Stutes are away to Shepshed Dynamo this Saturday (September 18).
