Trumpington FC get boost from Cooke Curtis & Co

Sponsorship deal for new club

A newly-formed colts football team have been boosted by sponsorship from Cooke Curtis & Co.

Trumpington FC were formed in September 2017 to provide opportunities for boys and girls in the area.

They have six teams, across the under-eights, under-nines and under-10s age groups, and the two Kings teams in the two older age groups have reached the quarter-finals of the Cambs Mini Soccer League Cup.

They have received sponsorship from the Trumpington-based business for a gazebo.

Chairman of Trumpington FC Ben Yeomans said: “We are delighted to have the support of Cooke Curtis & Co as we build our local community football club. The support of our sponsors is key to the success of the club.”

Sam Cooke, a partner at Cooke Curtis & Co, said “We are thrilled to be involved with local community football and helping keep the players warm and dry on the side of the pitch in unpredictable British weather.

“We are a business based in the local community and see ourselves as very much part of what happens here.”
