Win completes the season record

Tuli Paea touched down twice for Shelford as they beat Guildford 36-19 in their final match of the National League Three, London & SE season.

Simon Hrbek got the scoreboard ticking for Shelford with a try after three minutes, and they doubled their advantage six minutes later through Rhodri Dawes.

Guildford hit back with an unconverted try, but Shelford extended their lead to 15-5 through Paea’s first after 26 minutes.

However, it was 15-12 at half time after a converted score by Guildford.

Mike Gillick’s score and Dawes’ extras gave Shelford some breathing space, and another try from the hosts, also converted by Dawes, made it 29-12.

Guildford got a third try, but Paea finished off Shelford’s season with his second in the 79th minute, and Hrbek landed the conversion.
