Cambridge United monthly award is a four-way battle between Harvey Knibbs, Joe Ironside, Lloyd Jones and Harrison Dunk
Supporters are once again being invited to vote for their Love Cambridge Player of the Month.
Cambridge United forward Sam Smith picked up the inaugural prize for August – a month in which he scored a memorable hat-trick against Burton Albion.
And now four more players are in the running to pick up the award for September, with the U's having won three of their five games in all competitions.
Two assists and one match-winning goal against Morecambe has seen Harvey Knibbs make the shortlist for a second month in a row, as has defender Lloyd Jones, who helped to keep a clean sheet in the 2-0 home victory at the expense of Lincoln City.
After scoring both goals in that Lincoln clash centre-forward Joe Ironside is also in contention, with the long-serving Harrison Dunk rounding off the list of nominees.
The winning player will be presented with a trophy in an iconic Cambridge location next week.
Votes can be made by visiting the club's Twitter page (see above).
