In the East Men’s League Division 3NW, goals from Jack Chalk (2) and Jonny Camp were not enough to prevent Cambridge South III from losing 4-3 at Spalding II, while Cambridge South IV lost 3-1 at home to Wisbech Town II in the East Men’s League Division 4NW, with Matt Need on target.

Cambridge South V played out a 2-2 draw with City of Peterborough VI in the East Men’s League Division 4NW. South found themselves two goals down at the break but they responded through Rob Barton and Stuart Creed’s last-gasp equaliser.

In the East Men’s League Division 5NW, a hat-trick from Shahbaz Ali and one goal from John Greaves secured a 4-3 win for Cambridge South VI over Ely City III.

In the East Women’s League Division 1N, Cambridge South picked up their first win of the season by beating UEA 4-0.

Izzy MacDonald-Parry broke the deadlock and she also scored South’s second goal of the encounter before Maddy Barker Lucia Catley got in on the act.

In the East Women’s League Division 2NW, Cambridge South II lost out 3-2 at home to Pelicans I.

Sophie Hodgkinson and Juliette Stoop twice equalised for South, but after having a third goal chalked off they saw the visitors go up the other end and score a late winner.

In the battle of the East Women’s League Division 2NW newly-promoted sides, Cambridge South III were beaten 5-1 at Newmarket.

A goal from Tiffany Arnold made it 2-1, but the hosts ran away with it in the second half.

In the East Women’s League Division 3NW, Cambridge South IV won 3-0 against Wisbech Town II thanks to goals from Connie Piper (2) and Catriona West, but Cambridge South VI slumped to a 7-0 loss to Cambridge University VII in the East Women’s League Division 5NW.
