Histon Under-18s welcome Awards Property Management Ltd and Wow Cleaning Solutions in as new sponsors after racking up five wins

It has been a positive start to the new season on and off the pitch for Histon Under-18s.

Alfie Oakman’s young side have so far produced the goods in both the Thurlow Nunn Youth Football League South West Division and FA Youth Cup – and they have also welcomed in new sponsors.

Awards Property Management Ltd have agreed to sponsor the players’ tracksuits, while Wow Cleaning Solutions will have their company name on the squad’s polo shirts.

Manager Oakman said: “We're delighted to welcome two new team sponsors to Bridge Road to present the new teamwear and meet the staff and players. Sponsorships are a vital part of local football, especially youth teams at non-league level, so myself and everyone at the football club are very thankful for their kind support.

“I’d also like to say a huge thank you to Cipriani Plumbing Ltd for also being a team sponsor of ours, as well as Logic Scaffolding Ltd for continuing their support and being front-of-shirt sponsors for the third and fourth year running.”

On Tuesday evening Histon made it five wins from five outings in all competitions this term with a 6-0 home triumph at the expense of Saffron Walden Town.

The youngsters will next be in action on the week commencing 30 September when Bugbrooke St Michaels will be their visitors in the FA Youth Cup.
