At the all-new Cambridge Comedy Garden this 17-21 July, that’s where, as a Big Top bursting with the biggest names in comedy – plus craft beer, street food and more – sets up shop on Parker’s Piece.

As well as household names such as Harry and Josh, well-known comedian and television presenter Dara Ó Briain, Scotland’s queen of comedy Fern Brady, ‘master of the tragi-comedy’ John Robins, the amazing Josh Pugh and the delightful Nina Conti will also be appearing live on stage.

Bona-fide stand-up legends star alongside fast-rising talents such as Edinburgh Comedy Award nominees Lindsey Santoro and Louise Young, Shetland’s Marjolein Robertson, superstar-in-the-making Kemah Bob, and the award-winning Dan Tiernan – plus many more top acts in this impressive series of mixed-bill shows.

The Cambridge Comedy Garden is the latest venture from the sibling team behind a series of acclaimed comedy festivals running each year across the UK.

For 15 years, Will Briggs and Cass Randolph of 57 Festivals have been delivering meticulous comedy programming in boutique festival settings to sell-out crowds.

Their flagship Greenwich Comedy Festival has been entertaining the masses since 2009, welcoming more than 15,000 ticket holders each year to the iconic National Maritime Museum.

In 2011, they launched their Comedy Garden series, landing first in Bristol, followed by Brighton and St Albans – and now Cambridge.

Cass says: “We’re thrilled to be adding Cambridge to the Comedy Garden family this year; we have an incredible programme set to light up the summer.

“Our shows guarantee an unbeatable night out, pairing the finest comedians around with amazing bars, street food and all the fun of a festival.”

Will adds: “There’s a golden age for comedy right now, with so many ways to enjoy amazing content.

“Many of our acts have their own TV or podcast series, but nothing beats live, and we can’t wait to put these acts in front of the Cambridge crowd. We already know the shows are going to be electric!”
