Beer garden set to return in Eddington

Offering food, drink, music and more, a three-day pop-up event is to take place in Eddington Square from 10-12 May – the second time it will be held.

The Eddington Beer Garden, organised by The Crane Event, will see Eddington Square transformed into a social space featuring live music and entertainment, local street food, and a wide choice of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

It is free to attend, excluding tasting sessions, and open to all but those who plan to attend are asked to register in advance.

Sessions will run at 4-10pm on Friday, 10 May, noon-10pm on Saturday, 11 May, and noon-6pm on Sunday, 12 May.

Biky Wan, Eddington’s marketing manager for the University of Cambridge, said: “We’re thrilled to bring back the Eddington Beer Garden following its tremendous success last year.

“At Eddington, we’re committed to fostering a great sense of place, creating opportunities for people to enjoy and experience Eddington as a growing neighbourhood in Cambridge and this event punctuates our activation programme.”
