A National Trust spokesperson said: “This week is both half term and Cambridge Nature Festival and at Wicken Fen we’re celebrating with a variety of different events for all ages to get involved with.

“One of the highlights is our Building Bricks Wetland Workshop on Thursday. Everyone is invited to come along and create a model of wildlife - either bird, insect, butterfly or plant, or the windpump, or something else they’ve seen at Wicken Fen.

“It’s suitable for all ages and under 4s are free. Please book your timeslot on our website. We look forward to welcoming you to Wicken Fen this week.”
