Festival of Plants at Cambridge Botanic Garden grows to new heights

The annual Festival was attended by almost 3,000 visitors.

A wide range of activities took place on Saturday (May 18), including themed guided tours, interactive plant science stalls and flower crown making.

Helen Needham, marketing and communications co-ordinator at the garden, said: “We were delighted to see so many people genuinely fascinated by how clever plants are and engaging with many of the university’s plant scientists.”
