Chaka Khan will close the weekend on the Sunday. As a 10-time Grammy Award-winning superstar, she has helped to define music genres of pop, soul, jazz, and R&B with timeless hits like I’m Every Woman, Ain’t Nobody and I Feel for You.

Celebrating 50 years in the music industry, Chaka Khan recently became one of the latest inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The comedy line-up also includes big names including Marcus Brigstoke, Zoe Lyons, and Emmanuel Sonubi, and the entertainment will be expanded with an on-site cinema, new for 2024, and a host of fun events for families.

This year’s festival welcomes a wide variety of stars from the comedy circuit. On Saturday, 8 June, TV host Zoe Lyons hits the stage. Also appearing are Canadian stand-up Tom Stade, who has earned a reputation as one of the most distinctive stand-up talents around, Ryan Cullen, who was recently the runner-up in Irish Comedian of the Year, and Andre Vincent – comedian, actor, writer, director, presenter, singer and circus boy.

In the festival’s Orchard area, a new on-site cinema will screen classic American films, curated by Visit the USA.

Festival-goers can vote for their top 10 choice from the following iconic films: Rocky, When Harry Met Sally, Dirty Dancing, Top Gun Maverick, Elvis, La La Land, Sweet Home Alabama, Chicago, Pretty Woman, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Wizard of Oz, Barbie, Mrs Doubtfire, Sleepless in Seattle, and Princess Diaries. Families are spoilt for choice across the weekend with a host of creative family events, carefully curated for all ages to enjoy at The Imagination Station – presented by Tootles + Nibs, purveyors of fun and frolics.

Enjoy games galore, theatrical delights, and a thrilling circus extravaganza. Rock the stage with The Rubber Band, compete in Dodgeball Madness and tug-of-war, or try the fun fusion of precision and frisbees in frisbee golf.

Head of marketing at The Cambridge Club Festival, Sam Mellor said: “Obviously, music is hugely important to us, but it’s just one part of the festival.

“We want to offer a wider, more diverse and immersive weekend that interests everyone – so it’s great to be able to announce these additional entertainment areas.

“Being family-friendly is crucial for The Cambridge Club; we want to make sure there’s something for the little ones to do when the grown-ups are dancing. Plus, some of the country’s leading comedians, and an amazing new cinema activation with Visit the USA, screening some of the most iconic films.

“We’re super excited for all of it and can’t wait to welcome everyone!”
