Cambridge entrepreneur has a fiery new venture




David Underwood, a Cambridge local and former co-owner of Steak & Honour, is launching Orriss & Son – a collection of hot sauces.

Orriss & Son is a new collection of fermented chilli condiments that is both veganand gluten-free.

The options are ‘Even Flow’, based on fiery habaneros – plus red and smoked chillies, tomato and apple juices – ‘My Wave’, inspired by piri-piri spice seasoning, and ‘Fresh Tendrils’ which is based on the subtle heat of fresh green jalapeños, green peppers, apple juice, dried nettles and mint.

David said: “Running a quality driven fast food business has been immensely enjoyable but I know that now is the time to take on a new challenge.

“Our plan is to not only launch Orriss & Son to the general public, but also to collaborate with other complementary brands to create new product lines.”

Orriss & Son Small Batch Sauces retail at £7.25 for a 200ml glass bottle and are available from delishops.co.uk, or from orrissandson.com.
