Winners were revealed at a ceremony on August 14 in Birmingham and were praised for their quality, innovation, and consistency.

Modu Miah, co-owner of Pipasha in Newmarket Road, said: “We enjoyed a great night with our family members in attendance and the icing on the cake was for us to be announced as the winner in our region.”

Co-owner Abdul Hye said: “I was on holiday in Italy but keeping a close tab on the awards. Once it was confirmed we’d won, we were all so happy and have been overwhelmed by the responses on our social media.

“We thank our hardworking team, customers, family and friends for all the support. This award is for everyone and proves that since our opening in 1999 we have been committed to providing excellent food and service that brings back generations of customers to Pipasha.”
