Cambridge singer-songwriter Lorenza Wildcard returns with new single
Cambridge-based singer-songwriter Lorenza Wildcard is to release a new single, My Worth, on 30 January.
The song is described as a “daring and unyielding punk-rock anthem that exudes an aggressive, anti-patriarchal spirit, brimming with confidence, defiance, confrontation and provocation”.
The description continues: “With a rapid tempo propelled by thunderous, punchy drums switching to a heavy rock half-time chorus, a commanding bass guitar, edgy, vibrant guitar riffs, and catchy sharp staccato vocals, this high-energy track emerges as a standout gem in the punk-rock genre”.
Originally from Italy, and a former presenter on MTV, Lorenza released four singles in 2024: Love & Cuss in January, Rise & Ride in May, Fallen from My Tree in July, and Madhouse in September – all of which entered the indie charts.
She also performed a number of gigs in Cambridge and London.
