Cambridge singer-songwriter Lorenza Wildcard releases new single

Cambridge-based singer-songwriter Lorenza Wildcard released a new single on 27 January and has also announced a live date.

Titled Love & Cuss, the new song is about “strong, fierce and independent women who are turning tables, changing narratives and rebelling against biases and misogyny”.

It has been described as “a high-energy rock song with punk attitude”.

Originally from Italy, and a former presenter on MTV, Lorenza started making music during lockdown and has previously put out five singles, the most recent of which, Wasting My Time, came out in November.

Lorenza shared some further news: “Last week, I attended the Radio Wigwam Awards held at The Bedford Theatre in London as a nominee in the Best Indie Pop category.

“I was one of 10 in that category, out of over 5,000 international artists.

“The theatre was full of musicians who had flown in from all over the world – and I came third!”

Lorenza has also announced that she will be performing live at the Hank’s Dirty vegan restaurant in Cambridge on Saturday, 9 March, at 8pm. Entry is free.
