Cambridge Wind Band to present ‘An English Country Garden’ at Madingley Hall
The Cambridge Wind Band are to present ‘An English Country Garden’ in a marquee in the grounds of Madingley Hall in Cambridge tomorrow evening (Thursday, September 28), in aid of the Sick Children’s Trust.
Conducted by Viv Halton, the concert will include such pieces as Danceries by Kenneth Hesketh, Holst’s Second Suite, and English Folk Song Suite by Ralph Vaughan Williams.

The group have a reputation for high-quality performances in the Cambridge area and beyond, and this is their first event of the season – and their first since having chosen the Sick Children’s Trust as their charity for the year, with their net profits being donated to it.
