Cambridgeshire’s Zara Indian Cuisine wins Restaurant of the Year at the Bangladeshi Caterers Association Awards




Shelford-based Zara Indian Cuisine won Restaurant of the Year for the East of England Region at the Bangladeshi Caterers Association (BCA) Awards in London last Sunday (November 7).

Khaled Ahmed, the restaurant’s director, collected the award with his team and said: “We are very pleased to win such an accolade, especially as we have such brilliant restaurants in our region.”

In recent years, Cambridgeshire and the East of England have been recognised as being home to some of the best Indian restaurants in the country, recognised by awards bodies for their high-quality food and service.

Restaurants short-listed in the Restaurant of the Year category for the East of England Region at the awards also included Lalbagh in Bourn, Pipasha in Cambridge and Cam Spice in Great Eversden.
