Ekphrasis: An evening of poetry inspired by Greek and Roman sculpture to take place at the Museum of Classical Archaeology, Cambridge




A free evening of poetry inspired by Greek and Roman sculpture is to take place at the Museum of Classical Archaeology in Cambridge this Friday (2 May), from 6-7.30pm.

The museum is partnering with poet Gabriele Tinti for an evening dedicated to his poetry series, Ekphrasis.

Visitors can enjoy a glass of wine and readings by actor Peter Guinness, as well as a lively discussion of ekphrastic poetry with classicist Dr Nigel Spivey.
