Enjoy a movie outdoors in Cambridgeshire this summer with The Star & Mouse Picture Show
The Star & Mouse Picture Show will be showing films on big screens in picturesque outdoor settings in the region, starting this month.
The 1987 classic Dirty Dancing is on at The Willow Tree, Bourn, this Friday (May 21). This will be followed the next day at the same venue by Cocktail, starring Tom Cruise, from 1988.
In July, the site will be screening Bohemian Rhapsody, Pretty Woman and Midnight in Paris. Meanwhile, over at Burwash Manor on Friday,May 28, there will be a showing of the 2018 version of A Star Is Born.
The following day at Burwash, visitors can enjoy the Hugh Grant/Julia Roberts classic Notting Hill, and then Audrey Hepburn in early 60s romantic comedy, Breakfast At Tiffany’s.
In June at Burwash, look out for Point Break, Moulin Rouge and Le Mans 66. Madingley Hall will be showing Knives Out and The Peanut Butter Falcon in July, while Cambridge – by the River Cam at Scudamore’s – will have Top Gun (August 13) and Jurassic Park (August 14).
All of the events will be Covid-safe with social distancing measures in place.
