Come and cheer on Cambridge Rollerbillies this weekend

Cambridge Rollerbillies, Cambridge's only roller derby team, will be staging an afternoon of fun this Saturday (June 15).

Kelsey Kerridge Sports Centre will be hosting the roller derby event on Saturday afternoon from 1pm.

Attendees will be treated to two games: one themed, paying homage to old school roller derby culture from the early 2000s, and the second involving local team the Punt Rockers taking on their friends from Suffolk Roller Derby.

As well as the hard-hitting, fast-paced derby, expect facepainting, outfits and a spectacular atmosphere.

There will be a kids’ corner with drawing and activities, a glitter bar where you can show off your team spirit, a merchandise stand, a make-your-own-sign station where you can show your support for the team, and a raffle with lots of exciting prizes.

This event is alcohol-free and is a perfect day out for the family as under-16s get in for only £1.
