Enjoy big screen entertainment in Cambridge this summer
As the sun continues to shine, there is plenty of big screen entertainment coming to the city over the coming weeks.
There will be free outdoor film screenings taking place in Market Square, with double screenings in June, July and August.
Films will start at 6pm and 8pm and on each evening there will be two different movies being showb. There will be seats available but to guarantee a comfortable view, it is advisable to bring your own.
Then, on Friday, August 25, people can come and enjoy Puss in Boots and I Wanna Dance with Somebody.
Ahead of all of these, for the first time there will be a large screen on Station Road, next to The Clayton Hotel, on a Wednesday evening for an special film night.
On Wednesday, June 28, Top Gun: Maverick, starring Tom Cruise, will be shown. The Copper Tree Gin Bar will also be on hand to serve refreshments during the film.
Seating will be available, on a first come first served basis and the movie starts at 6pm.
As well as film screenings, Strawberries & Screen – Live Wimbledon returns from July 3-16. Located next to The Clayton Hotel, on Station Road, pop along in your lunch break or after work to enjoy a spot of tennis and chilled beverages.
The Copper Tree Gin Bar will be onsite with all the usual tipples including a variety of gin, beer, Pimm’s and non-alcoholic spritzes. Keep an eye on the Love Cambridge socials (facebook.com/LoveCambs/?locale=en_GB, instagram.com/lovecambridge_/?hl=en) to stay up to date will all events.
