If you are looking to head out to see a fireworks display on or around November 5, there are plenty of options, big and small, in and around Cambridge..
Here are some of those options - and if you’re off to any of them, don’t forget to wrap up warm.
Cambridge Bonfire Night on Midsummer Common, Cambridge - Saturday, November 5
After two years away, one of the largest free displays in the region is set to return to the city on Saturday, November 5. The free event will be sponsored by Illumina and is expected to attract thousands of spectators. This year's compere for the evening is BBC Radio Cambridgeshire presenter, Jeremy Sallis.
The first rocket will be launched at 7pm followed by the lighting of the bonfire after the 15-minute display finishes. Food vendors will also be available on site. Entry is free but donations are requested. For more information, visit cambridgelive.org.uk/tickets/donations.

Winter Whoosh!, Newmarket Road, Stow cum Quy - Saturday, November 26
Whoosh!, a collaboration of promoters, DJs, live artists and entertainers, is to stage its flagship annual fireworks party, with special guests Utah Saints.
The event takes place at The Missing Sock in Stow cum Quy on Saturday, November 26, from 7pm-3pm. Tickets are £25-£30. For more information, and to buy tickets, visit whooshevents.info/.
Diwali Fireworks, Cambridge, University of Cambridge Primary School, Eddington Avenue, Cambridge - Friday, November 4
Following on from last year’s display, this event takes place on Friday, November 4, from 5.30-8pm. There will be food and drink available to purchase on the night and tickets are £8 for adults and £5 for children. For more information and tickets, go to bit.ly/3DdYunV.
Hilton Bonfire and Fireworks Night - Saturday, November 5
The Hilton Fireworks and Bonfire Night will be held on Saturday, November 5. Food and drink will be available, courtesy of Hilton Feast Week, and visitors are asked not to bring sparklers as light-up toys will be available to purchase.
Tickets are £3 per adult and £2 per child, though under school age children get in free. Gates open at 6pm and the fireworks start at 7pm. Parking is restricted so guests are asked to consider walking, and also not to drive up Wraggs Row.
Combustible bonfire donations will be accepted from Hilton residents on Saturday, November 5, from 9am to 1pm. For more information and tickets, visit bit.ly/3VFVSpX.
Cambourne Fireworks, the playing fields, Back Lane, Upper Cambourne, Cambridge - Saturday, November 5
Cambourne’s fireworks event will take place at the football pitches in Upper Cambourne, and volunteers will be on hand from 5.30pm. The funfair will start at 5.30pm and the fireworks display will start at 7.30pm, weather permitting. There will be complimentary mulled wine, licensed bars, sparklers and much more. Parking is limited.

Histon and Impington Fireworks, Impington Village College playing fields, New Road, Impington, Cambridge - Saturday, November 5
After a three-year absence, the community fireworks display in the village is back, on Saturday, November 5. Gates open at 6pm and the display starts at around 7pm. Hot food and drink will be available.
If booked in advance, a family ticket (two adults and as many children as you can cope with) are £13, an adult tickets is £7, and under 18s get in for £4. Tickets purchased on the day are priced at £15 for a family ticket, £8 for adults and £5 for under 18s.

Ely Fireworks Display, Cherry Hill, Ely - Saturday, November 5
Ely Community Events Team ( ECET ) has confirmed the return of the annual fireworks evening at Cherry Hill, which will this year take place on Saturday, November 5.
Admission will be from 4.30pm onwards, with the bonfire being lit at 6.30pm and the display itself to beginning at 7pm.
Advance adult tickets are £8, advance tickets for children (under 16s) are £4, and a family ticket (two adults and two children) is £20. On the gate tickets for adults are £10 and £5 for children. For more information, see facebook.com/FireworksEly/.
Huntingdon Fireworks, Huntingdon Racecourse, Thrapston Road, Brampton, Huntingdon - Friday, October 28
Organised by Komodo Events, the display is taking place this Friday (October 28) at Huntingdon Racecourse. The gates open at 5pm and the fireworks are duet to start at 7.30pm.

Hemingford Fireworks, The Big Field site, London Road, St Ives - Saturday, November 5
This historic event, running for more than 50 years, brings together the local community to enjoy the colours, the sounds and the explosions in the sky. The show, which this year takes place on Saturday, November 5, is provided by Cambridge Fireworks, winner of the 2018 Fireworks Championship.
Alongside the bonfire and rockets, there will be a funfair, street food vans, DJs and other entertainment. Gates open at 5pm, the bonfire will follow at 5.30pm, and the fireworks display will begin at 6.30pm. A family (two adults, two children) saver ticket costs £22, while a family saver ticket (one adult, two children) costs £15.
