Gallery: Cambridge Camera Club 2022 exhibition features hundreds of stunning images
Here is a selection of just some of the hundreds of striking images from Cambridge Camera Club that are going on virtual display.
The club’s annual exhibition – supported once again by the Cambridge Independent – will be launched on Monday (April 25) at an open and free event via Zoom from 7pm.
Images to impress and inspire photographers of all abilities will be on show and the award-winners, chosen by sponsors, selectors and the city’s mayor, Cllr Russ McPherson, will be revealed.
Among them will be one chosen by editor Paul Brackley and picture editor Keith Heppell as the winner of the Cambridge Independent Trophy for the Best News, Sport or Documentary image.
Paul said: “We always look forward to this exhibition and the task of selecting our trophy winner was, as ever, both a challenging and enjoyable task. The images on display this year are fantastic and I heartily recommend checking them out.”
All attendees to the launch will have access to the exhibition, which is also sponsored by John Lewis, Scotsdales, Domino, Campkins Cameras, Samsung and Richer Sounds.
Register for the event by visiting the Eventbrite site here. Or visit cambcc.org.uk for more.
Look out also for extensive coverage of the exhibition in the Cambridge Independent. We will have a winners’ special in the edition out from April 27, with further coverage to follow.
