Gallery: Family fun at Cambridgeshire nature reserve

The Kingfishers Bridge nature reserve in Wicken, Ely, held two family-friendly open days last weekend.

Visitors who came on Saturday (August 10) and Sunday (August 11) were able to see the Asian Water Buffalo and Konik Ponies, and discover how they are being used to recreate lost fenland habitats.

There were guided walks and demonstrations of moth trapping and bird ringing, as well as fun activities for all ages including pond dipping.
