‘Heathers the Musical’ comes to Cambridge Arts Theatre
Following successful runs in the West End and two national tours, the winner of the WhatsOnStage Best New Musical, Heathers the Musical, is on now at the Cambridge Arts Theatre.
It will be the last touring show to come to the theatre before its extensive, 11-month revamp begins - which will start as soon as this season’s pantomime comes to an end.
This black comedy/rock musical, based on the cult teen film, Heathers, starring Winona Ryder and Christian Slater, tells the story of Veronica Sawyer, just another nobody dreaming of a better life.
But when she is unexpectedly taken under the wings of the three beautiful – though impossibly cruel – Heathers, her dreams of popularity finally start to come true.
Kat Collins, head of sales and marketing at the theatre, said: “We’re thrilled to host Heathers the Musical this week, which has been such a big hit with a huge cult following.

“The show has been on an epic tour across the country and we’re the closing venue to this tour so, hopefully, we can give the cast and crew a lovely send-off from Cambridge before the panto season kicks off for us next week with Cinderella!"
Heathers the Musical is on at the Cambridge Arts Theatre until Saturday (23 November). Tickets, priced £25-£49, are available from cambridgeartstheatre.com.
