Ice Bar coming to Cambridge’s North Pole attraction this week
An Ice Bar is coming to Cambridge this Saturday (December 4) as part of the North Pole celebrations.
Running until January 3, 2022, the North Pole in Cambridge will join the line-up of festive fun, serving everything from the finest wines and beers to more seasonal tipples, as well as food all season round.
Tickets start at £12 and include a free cocktail or mocktail. Children are also welcome and will receive a mocktail. There are three 20-minute sessions per hour and sessions need to be booked within the timing slots. Each session has a total capacity of 20, and visitors are encouraged to wrap up warm.
Rob Derry, managing director of events and event hire at Arena, which produces the event, said: “Families and couples looking for a more relaxed evening should look no further than this year’s Ice Bar in Cambridge. It’s an experience filled with all things ice and looks fantastic situated next to the North Pole site.
“After last year’s lockdown Christmas period, we wanted to bring the fun back to the region in more ways than ever.”
Tickets for the Ice Bar, situated next to the North Pole in Cambridge, are available now. For more information and to book tickets, visit thenorthpolecambridge.co.uk.
On Monday (December 6), it was announced that the rink had delayed the opening of the ice bar as they were waiting on the last couple of pieces of sculpture to arrive for it. The team at The North Pole decided to push the opening back towards the end of this week to ensure that it is fully complete for visitors to enjoy.
