There was a great deal on offer at this year’s Apple Day at Burwash Manor, an annual event that helps raise money for the Sick Children’s Trust.
The apple day, which last year raised more than £5,500 for the charity, took place last Saturday (October 8). Kerry Norman, who co-organises the event with Angela Hall, said: “I think we probably had the most attendees we’ve ever had.” She added: “We have plenty of entertainment for the children. We had steam train rides and pony rides, an assualt course and funfair. This year we had a Nerf shooting range, that we haven’t had previously.”

Burwash Apple Day has been running for more than 20 years. This year, expert apple identifiers from the East of England Apples and Orchards Project (EEAOP) were also in attendance. For more information, visit burwashmanorfarm.com.
