In pictures: Crowds flock to the Cambridge Autumn Food, Home and Craft Fair
There was another good turnout at the Cambridge Autumn Food, Home and Craft Fair, as more than 100 stalls drew the crowds to Parker’s Piece last weekend (September 16-17).
As well as arts, crafts, food, drink, homewares and lifestyle stalls, both in large marquees and outside, there were also cookery demonstrations, live music and a licensed bar.
The event was organised by Charlie Owen Events. Charlie said Saturday was particularly popular with visitors, thanks to the good weather.
The cooking demonstrations, which included Great British Bake Off finalist and Wilbrahams resident Ian Cumming, was one of his highlights of the weekend.
“There was also Thai chef Yui Miles, who was on MasterChef, and who is having her book published,” said Charlie.
“We had over 100 exhibitors and it was a lovely range of people happy with what they were selling.”
Charlie said the feedback had been positive and noted that the team will be back in June for the country show and then again in September for the autumn fair.
