In pictures: Easter fun at Anglesey Abbey
The region’s National Trust properties offered plenty of Easter activities for children over the Easter weekend, and the activities are continuing over the school holidays.
At Anglesey Abbey, the Easter adventure trail began on Good Friday and runs until 14 April.
It includes face-painting and Easter-themed crafts, and children can also enjoy the Woodland Play Area, which boasts a treehouse, swings, a bird hide and a den-building area.
There is also welly-wanging fun on the trail, as well as games and activities along the way, including some egg and spoon races, a giant birdbox and the opportunity to get dressed up in a chick and egg photobooth.
Visitors can take a stroll through the swathes of daffodils in the gardens and enjoy some outdoor bubble performances on 11 April.

Meghan Curteis, experience and visitor programming manager, Anglesey Abbey, said: “It’s been great to see so many families spending time together enjoying our Easter trail at Anglesey Abbey over the long weekend – and it hasn’t ended yet!
“Until 14 April you can take a stroll through the daffodils, get creative with Easter-themed craft activities and follow the National Trust Easter trail with 10 fun activity stations, including welly wanging, duck duck goose, egg and spoon races and a giant birdbox.
“We’re also delighted to be hosting Umbrella Parties and their mesmerising bubble magic on Thursday, 11 April. Drop in for the bubble shows at 12pm, 12.30pm, 1pm and 1.30pm.”
Every trail ends with a chocolate egg, or a vegan ‘Free-From’ chocolate egg. To find your nearest Easter trail, visit nationaltrust.org.uk/easter.
