In pictures: Granta Park’s annual Festive Fun Run raises money for East Anglian Air Ambulance

It was another Christmassy affair as Granta Park’s annual Festive Fun Run, in aid of East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA), was held last Thursday (5 December).

Participants were able to run, walk or jog the 2.5k route around Granta Park, and many were in their best festive attire.

This event is open to those based on the park, the local community and members of Nuffield Health Granta Park gym.

Becca Keefe, marketing and events manager for Granta Park, said that 42 people took part.

She said: “We raised just over £500. Everyone had a great time and then it was back to the Christmas tipi for mince pies, mulled wine and water!”

Becca added: “We encourage everyone to do it in festive attire – it’s more sustainable than giving people single-use Santa suits. Everyone comes along as festive as they would like.”
