Master chef Steven Saunders signs Cambridge Country Club deal
The new Cambridge Country Club – formerly Bourn Golf & Country Club – is set to open soon following a multi-million pound renovation.
Partnerships have been announced with Elemis, a luxury care and beauty brand, and celebrity master chef, Steven Saunders.
The ‘London spa experience’ can be enjoyed in five modern treatment rooms, including a Himalayan salt spa. The treatment will come courtesy of Dr Sunil Chopra, a renowned dermatologist who will have an on-site clinic.
Meanwhile, Steven Saunders – who ran Sheene Mill in Cambridgeshire and is well known for cooking for the royals and appearing on TV’s show Ready Steady Cook – has signed a lease deal to operate all the food and beverage outlets at the country club.
Laura McLaren, head of spa and leisure at Cambridge Country Club, said: “We’ve already received so much interest and positive comments about the new spa from our members and the local community, so we can’t wait to officially open the doors and Chef Steven Saunders has partnered with Cambridge Country Club welcome our first visitors.”
