LEARN MOREChinese pianist Sunny Li will be performing in Cambridge ahead of a tour around the UK
Sunny, who began performing aged six, is looking forward to sharing her passion with a Cambridge audience.
The 25-year-old, who studied at the Royal Academy of Music, has won several awards both in China and in the UK.
On Tuesday, Sunny will perform at Great St Mary’s Church along with violinist Diego Vassallo.
“The music in China especially classical music, I think is a growing market. More and more people are starting to learn the piano. It’s a culture-bridge between China and western countries. In London, you have more opportunities that are not just piano concerts but also symphonies and operas. I feel closer to the music,” said Sunny.
Sunny will return to the city in the summer and perform at Emmanuel United Reformed Church in Cambridge on August 16.
