The Ruskin Gallery is situated at the back of the Anglia Ruskin University Cambridge campus, in the exhibition space of the Cambridge School of Arts.

Ruskin Gallery

Address: East Road, Cambridge, CB1 1PT

Visitor centre opening hours: Monday to Saturday 10 - 4.30

Entry prices: Free admission

Parking: No

Toilets: Yes

Refreshments: Cafe in university foyer

It’s a dynamic space, with constantly changing exhibits and a state of the art digital gallery.

The area beneath the main exhibition space has been transformed into a photography gallery and there is also an interactive touch-screen information point.

The Gallery has an open call policy for exhibitions, so you can visit fairly regularly and still expect to see something completely different that you wouldn’t necessarily see in other galleries.

The main Anglia Ruskin University building in right in the middle of Cambridge, just off Parker’s Piece, so it’s a great stop on a day in the city, but it’s also just around the corner from the independent retailers on Mill Road. If you’ve done Trumpington Street and the old Cambridge University buildings then this is a great alternative to look at a different side of Cambridge culture.

You can find out more about the Ruskin Gallery online.
