Get ready for a 1920s party this week in Cambridge
Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox's 11-date UK tour, Welcome to The Twenties 2.0, comes to the Corn Exchange this Thursday (February 21).
After touring their second album, The Essentials II, regionally in November 2018, YouTube sensation Scott Bradlee and his Postmodern Jukebox collective have returned to the UK for an 11-date tour.
In what Billboard described as “a simple yet ingenious concept,” the ensemble re-imagines contemporary pop, rock and R&B hits in a variety of vintage styles including swing, doo-wop, ragtime and Motown, referred to by founder Scott Bradlee as “pop music in a time machine” which has resulted in over 1.1 billion views on Youtube and sold-out shows across the globe.
Started by Bradlee in 2009, Postmodern Jukebox (PMJ) has gone on to amass over one billion YouTube views with 3.5 million subscribers, and have accumulated more than 1.7 million fans on Facebook. For the past half decade, PMJ has also toured the world, playing hundreds of shows to sold-out houses on six continents.
“Get ready for the most sensational '20s party this side of The Great Gatsby," says Bradlee.
Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox will be at the Cambridge Corn Exchange on Thursday, February 21, at 7.30pm.
Tickets: £38, £30.50. All prices shown include a £3 booking fee.
