See Cambridge bands Yes Chris and Yoke at bumper indie gig

Cambridge indie band Yes Chris will be performing a hometown town headline gig at Hank’s Cambridge, 67 Lensfield Road.

It promises to be a jam-packed night of alternative and indie rock from four bands, headlined by Yes Chris, who bring bring a powerful and infectious, guitar led blend of driving rhythms and melody.

They are supported by Cambridge Independent favourites Yoke, who promise beautiful keyboard-led songs about hope and despair, and other things. Fans of Yo La Tengo, Wire, The Feelies, The Bongos, Judas Priest and (maybe) Living on a Prayer, will feel at home.

Also playing are Parliament of Wolves - infectious grooves, versatile tempos, and hooks from this up and coming band who fuse heavy rock with retro 80s beats.

And Birmingham indie stalwarts Falling and Laughing will join the evening with their immersive blend of adventurous indie-pop.
