See Cambridgeshire village Linton through the eyes of artist Ebu Estandar
Linton-based artist Ebu Estandar is exhibiting at the Gallery Above art gallery in the village.
Ebu, of the Bunong indigenous people of Taiwan, has been living in Linton for eight years. The work she has on display depicts the village through her eyes and includes paintings of shops, pubs, well-known buildings and the surrounding countryside.
She notes that this series of paintings was “inspired by her appreciation of the beauty and friendliness of her new home”.
Ebu previously also lived in Mexico and has had her work exhibited in Taiwan, Mexico and the UK. The exhibition at Gallery Above opened on March 3 and runs until April 16.
